We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who has experience with managing documentation projects and is skilled in editing and proofreading. The candidate will partner with internal customers, providing training and assistance, to facilitate the content development of the seasonal capital planning and resolution planning documentation. Additionally, this candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining house style guides, process/procedure documents, and job aids.Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical editing support, including writing, proofreading, and editing, for the timely bi-annual submissions of capital planning (CCAR/DFAST) documentation to the regulatory agencies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the business
  • Research, analyze, and translate analytical and technical business information, and communicate it in a clear, concise, and organized manner
  • Identify areas to enhance current processes, synthesize findings, and present recommendations to management
  • Maintain house style guides, identifying and implementing updates, additions, and deletions
  • Lead and coordinate the review and approval processes using the certification tool in Wdesk
  • Create and maintain job aids, policy and procedure documentation, and work flows
  • Provide support related to the Finance Departments policy and procedure administration
  • Support efforts to create and execute project plans
  • Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum 4 years professional writing experience
  • Excellent writing skills, including basic structure and style
  • Experience with financial services
  • Familiarity with banking regulations
  • Strong presentation skills and experience using PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • High level of self-motivation
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Clear focus on timelines, including the ability to manage short deadlines and maintain focus in a climate of ongoing regulatory changes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Workiva Wdesk, or the ability to learn software packages quickly
  • Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style
  • Experience writing policy and procedure documentation
