**Job Description:** Summary: Cloud is transforming IT and Dell EMC’s mission is to lead customers & partners on their journey to hybrid cloud computing. The Dell EMC Hybrid Cloud Platforms team is looking to hire seasoned technical marketing engineers to manage the creation and delivery of technical solutions and enablement to our partners and sales force. As part of Dell EMC’s world-class technical organization, you will work closely with other business units and partners and gain valuable skills, along with career growth and development opportunities, including training and certifications in the latest technologies. Reporting to the Director of Technical Marketing for Cloud solutions marketing, the technical marketing engineer will work closely with the Hybrid Cloud Platform engineering, presales, marketing, and education services teams to define and drive solutions to market. The Technical Marketing Engineer is a content creator, developing scalable marketing and enablement content for our internal teams, customers and partners. Forms of content begin with presentations and whitepapers, but can also include demo creation, videos, and interactive training and simulations. This specific opening will focus on the infrastructure and application elements of a Microsoft-based cloud and will follow the shift that is occurring towards more developer and application-centric cloud models. The ideal candidate will have: Strong understanding of delivering solutions to market, offerings, and GTM structure Deep understanding of Cloud Computing, and Virtualization technology Solid technical understanding of the cloud computing competitive landscape Able to clearly demonstrate solution value at all levels of the customer organization Results Oriented and ability to operate in a matrix environment Strong verbal and written communications skills Strong leadership and influence skills with business and functional organizations Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and programs Takes initiative and able to work independently Ability to bring new ideas and creativity to bring to the technical marketing process The responsibilities of this job will include: Create technical marketing content in the forms of: Customer-facing PowerPoint presentations Demo videos and interactive software simulations Blogs, Whitepapers, and Solution Guides Training and Enablement Content Act as a technical evangelist providing training, presentations and support to Presales and Partners, preparing them for proposing innovative solutions to customer business problems Understand business applications, underlying infrastructure capabilities, software requirements, and systems integration related to their area of expertise Be responsible for documenting and sharing information and best practices and other technical content Engaging on social and community platforms in support of the Dell EMC cloud solutions Active participation in EMC cloud solutions development process Limited travel in support of EMC marketing events and customer meetings Qualifications and Requirements 7+ years’ experience in technical marketing or consulting experience with Dell EMC solutions and partner applications at an infrastructure software company, server, storage, cloud or SaaS company. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Pack Experience with Microsoft System Center and the Microsoft Virtualization ecosystem Understanding of Openstack Project and use cases Cloud and Service Provider operating models, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google Cloud Platform Application development models and operational procedures Deep knowledge of Dell EMC solutions and associated customer value Demonstrable proficiency with the following tools and categories: PowerPoint, Visio, Camtasia, Photoshop Training in most of the following: information architectures, writing, presentation creation and public speaking or presentation skills Degree in Computing or related technical field such as Engineering or Science or significant industry experience Mastery and ability to communicate effectively in English Location – Boston Area strongly preferred, but open to remote US Locations **EMC Values:** When you choose our company, you join a diverse world of innovative thought leaders.
