Looking for experienced Technical Operators for our Carson area!!

If you have food manufacturing experience along with strong technical and mechanical skills then we have a great temp to hire opportunity for you!

* MECHANICAL SKILLS: Members of the new team will own all equipment on the line. Employees will be expected to operate, clean, and perform all maintenance on their equipment. They will also be expected to diagnose problems and troubleshoot, fix defects, and complete work orders/PMs. Reliability Technicians will support training to help employees become technically competent on the line.

OVERVIEW
The Technical Operator works in a team-based environment that enables them to expand technical and soft skills, while being personally accountable for results and improvements in productivity. The primary responsibilities of a Technical Operator are to work autonomously within the team and safely operate and maintain equipment. Technical operators lead with a continuous improvement mindset and proactively identify and resolve problems independently or leverage appropriate resources to drive strong system performance.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/BEHAVIORS
* Lead with safety and have a strong food and human safety mindset
* Adhere to and act in accordance with the Carson plant policies, procedures and values
* Willingness and ability to be flexible and adapt to changing job requirements
* Ability to make good decisions as it relates to the safe operation of the production equipment and willingness to escalate concerns appropriately
* Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
* Ability to work well with others at all levels to solve problems and maintain a positive attitude
* Displays a positive attitude towards company and others
* Ability to effectively communicate and share information to help train and develop others
* Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written communication skills
* Ability to effectively use computer programs including but not limited to Outlook/Webmail, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Capable of becoming proficient in Maximo/Storeroom processes
* Maintenance, Leadership, CI (AM/SM, Foundational Systems, etc.) experience highly recommended

Position Details:
* 12 hr. rotating shift - 3-2-2 schedule
* Pay rate: $18/hr. to start - when converting to permanent probation rate will be $20/hr. after probation you will then receive $25.95/hr.
