Avitas Systems is looking for a Technical Program Manager - Analytics to join its emerging industrial inspections Advanced Data Analytics and Machine Learning Team. The Technical Program Manager will be an expert on the advanced data analytics and machine learning technologies and be responsible for leading programs and projects through the development and execution process.
This high-impact & visible role will help align analytics product lines with program management and cover both image and non-image analytics. This role involves a strong advanced data analytics and machine learning background and close collaboration with Analytics & Machine Learning, Product Management, Solution Architects, Engineering, commercial / sales organizations and potential customers and partners.
This role requires excellent knowledge of advanced data analytics and machine learning technologies and platforms, cross-functional leadership and strong program management skills. This role will define process, metrics, ways to optimize / scale up, and lead complex and technical projects for the analytics team. In addition, this role will support the team in technical development as needed and requires experience and skill in coding.
+ Get a deep understanding of business' advanced data analytics and machine learning technology strategy for industrial inspection marketplace with responsibility of alignment with program & project management
+ Manage program management process, KPIs and tracking methods / tools to measure progress and improve. Responsibility for program execution
+ Innovate ways to improve the efficiency across the value chain to meet vision, goals and milestones
+ Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to success in the engagements particularly with developers
+ Ensure requirements, work scope, deliverables and schedule are documented and steered for success
+ Define and manage change request processes
+ Interface with other systems, internal/external checks, controls and outputs
+ Gather information about program objectives, functions, features and input / output requirements in the engagements
+ Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time and compatibility with technical environments and ensures successful execution within those parameters
+ Skilled in technology and tools in managing the engagements (online collaboration tools, program / project tracking tools, KPI management tools, etc.)
+ Support development of the roadmap for advanced data analytics and machine learning driven features for the Avitas' core inspections as a service platform
+ M.S. or Ph.D. with specialization in one of the following: Advanced Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, Machine Vision, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience with program / project management
+ Minimum 5 years of experience with large, complex program management in Analytics
+ Demonstrated experience delivering an analytics product
+ Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills
+ High degree of hands-on experience in running complex projects / engagements / programs
+ Hands-on experience in various program/project management tools
+ Proven ability to execute high-profile initiatives and to provide strategic, thought leadership to the organization
+ Demonstrated ability to plan and execute highly visible, cross business initiatives
+ Proven track record with both working with senior executives & technical decision makers
+ Hands-on experience with Computer Vision and Image Analytics with specific focus on feature and object detection for RGB and thermal imagery data
+ Expertise in highly scalable Machine Learning Packages with specific extensions for Neural Engineering and Intelligent Learning
+ Experience as a coder in Python, C / C++, including libraries such as Caffe/TensorFlow/SKLearn, with advance understanding of modular design patterns. Prior experience in deploying a Computer Vision based application preferred
+ Experience in UIUX toolsets such as Qlik, DataIku, CSS, etc.
+ Experience in data modeling including feature engineering, data scrubbing
+ Strong technological knowledge in analytics and enterprise software
+ Experience in working with local and remote teams across time zones
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
+ Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
+ Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
+ Ability to learn and define business processes and operationalize via supporting technologies/tools
