Job Description
Intel is looking for a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our Saffron cognitive analytics team in the New Technology Group. The Project Manager will be able to put technology, problem solving and project management skills to work in a highly consultative, customer facing role. The right individual understands the importance of solving complex business problems, yet recognizes the value in a balanced approach which emphasizes the success of the customer relationship. This role is focused on enabling the complete adoption of Saffron solutions. This individual will work on external customer projects coordinating both internal and external resources and schedules to achieve successful project outcomes and delighted customers.
Day to day activities will include:
  • Manage customer and internal activities to drive toward project milestones and overall project execution
  • Fully understand customer processes, workflow, and requirements to implement a robust solution
  • Identify and solve complex process and technology-related problems during the rollout process through methodologies that rely on best practice as much as creative thinking
  • Clearly communicate the status of all projects, risks i.e. scope creep, change control with implementation, technology and customer dependencies
  • Manage actuals vs budget implementation hours, and communicate revised budgets for any scope change
  • Create weekly status reports for customers and internal business stakeholders
  • Engage with a variety of stakeholders within each customer and Saffron stakeholders to ensure buy-in at all levels within the organization
  • Serve as an ambassador of the Intel/Saffron brand in all customer interactions, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and world class service our users have come to expect
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, acting as an advocate for the user, to ensure customer needs are met through a more powerful Saffron application
  • Communicate functionality and technical concepts to non-technical/technical users, alike
  • Work to meet deadlines with the cross team members
  • Flexibility to tackle problems & Issues with enthusiasm and tenacity and recognize or anticipate issues that could disrupt productivity.
  • Participate in business processes and technology initiatives to improve business performance
  • Act as liaison and participate in defining solutions to solve complex, multidisciplinary business problems with long term implications.
  • Able to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at any one time
  • Able to troubleshoot and solve problems in customer Internal or external focused service environment.
  • The ideal candidate would be able to work in a virtual, remote and on-site environment with a customer and Saffron team as well as travel to work on premise within the customer's environment. Must be able and willing to manage up to 50% domestic and/or international travel.

Qualifications

Qualifications: This position requires close collaboration with geographically diverse teams to ensure successful delivery of projects. Candidate must have necessary skills to work in a fast-based and dynamic environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability.
  • Skilled in problem solving, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
  • Ability to work in client facing roles and be the single point of contact for delivery activities, both technical and business.
  • Ability to switch among multiple projects in short periods of time and sometimes support multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well individually as well as in a highly collaborative team
  • Demonstrated interest in learning new technologies
  • Self-motivated and autonomous
  • Experience in managing software Implementation in the Financial Services Industry
Minimum Requirements:
  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related experience 3-6 Years.
  • Certified PMP
  • Demonstrated complex technical project management experience 3-6 Years
Desired Experience:
  • Experience in Financial Crimes and/or Financial Services Digital Transformation Projects
  • Experience in Regulated and Compliance areas of Financial Industry.
