Applied Materials is looking for a Technical Program Manager to manage external and internal research and development projects. This position is in Sunnyvale CA. Prefer candidates with no relocation requirements.

In this role you will be expected to leverage your experience in semiconductor technology and process integration to scope, prioritize, and manage research projects between Applied Materials and external partners. You will work with Applied's partners to determine scope of work, success criteria, timelines, deliverables and resource requirements. You will work with internal experts as well as customers to manage the programs to successful completion on time. Innovation and out of the box thinking will be required to meet project expectations as new devices, materials, processing and integration structures are expected as requirements for project success. You will track and report the status of these projects to executives using best known practices (communication, Gantt charts, meeting cadence, action item tracking, etc.). Strong project management skills as well as strong semiconductor process integration skills make this a challenging but rewarding career opportunity.
Qualifications:
Required Experience

-MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or Materials Science
-5-10 years in process integration of either logic or memory devices, prefer experience in memory
-Project management skills and experience
-Fluent in English
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Management experience preferred but not required
