Current Need

McKesson's MPTS division has a need for a Sales Support Consultant . The Sales Support Specialist will provide technical expertise regarding our pharmacy solutions and will consult with the Sales Executives, Account Executives and Account Managers to meet the Sales/Revenue needs of the McKesson Pharmacy Systems.

This position will ideally be based in our Pittsburgh, PA or Atlanta, GA office but remote based candidates will be considered.  30% overnight travel to various customer sites is required.


Position Description

• Conduct all product demonstrations
• Conduct all services demonstrations
• Respond, format and complete RFPs/RFIs
• Represent MPS&A and our products by attending Conferences, Trade Shows, and other Industry Meetings
• Collect data, create IPA for internal and external review.
• Answers internal and external questions on products and solutions
• Conduct User Labs/Training for potential customers and new Sales hires
• Certification of Sales Executives on Product competency

 

Qualifications



Minimum Requirements
4 - 6 yrs hospital management experience in area of expertise. 2 -4 yrs in specific types of software system applications may be required.

Critical Skills

3+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: Software Systems Administration, Sales, Product Demonstrations, Pharmacy Operations
Experience in maintaining database/deploying updates for Demo Environments

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Exceptional presentation/communication skills
Pharmacy/Health Care knowledge is highly preferred
Infrastructure components and support of SaaS model
Knowledge of healthcare industry security and compliance standards
Working knowledge of product integration issues with a solution set.
Software/hardware interfacing
Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills.
Working knowledge of competitive products & services.
Working knowledge of RFP process and experience responding to RFPs preferred.

Proficient in standard software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education
Professional degree in area of expertise. Advanced degreee may be preferred in some assignments.
