The TechServices Manager is the voice of the customer inside the business and must be passionate about the customer experience. The Technical Services Manager is responsible for developing and managing customer focused, unique product offerings. The Technical Services Manager needs to test the product, talk to customers and get feedback first hand - especially when starting up a new product offering. The Technical Services Manager must be able to develop a Go To Market Plan that runs from concept all the way through delivery to the customer. The Technical Services Manager is focused on maximising business value from the products in their portfolio. The Technical Services Manager should be deliberate about optimising a product to achieve the business goals while maximising return on investment. The Technical Services Manager needs to be able to understand the technology stack, and most importantly understand the level of IT and cross functional effort involved in order to make the right decisions. This is particularly important in an Agile environment where the Technical Services Manager spends considerable time with the development team. The Technical Services Manager will be accountable for customer experience and business results of specific product offerings and will have a strong influence in shaping the future success of the Services portfolio.
