Tech Support Engineer 3, VxRack
As a TSE 3 for Dell EMC?s VxRack produt line, you will support VxRack enterprise customers. Day-to-day activities include diagnosing and resolving system problems, being a remote resource for complicated deployments and building our internal knowledge base for future interactions.Will work closely with VMware, engineering and Dell hardware teams to find viable solutions in unique customer environments.We have several openings for this team at varying grade levels depending on a candidate?s experience.From recent graduate Analyst level to highly experienced Consultant Level. The ideal candidate will enjoy working directly with customers and can represent Dell EMC with the highest level of professionalism.
Prior experience as a System Administrator, in technical support, or similar customer facing roles is required plus the following technical skills and knowledge.
REQUIRED/MUST HAVE SKILLS
Experience with Virtual Environments including Hypervisors and preferably VMware Virtual SAN, Vsphere or vCenter.
Strong networking and file serving protocol experience such as: TCP/IP, NFS, SMB HTTP, FTP
Experience in Enterprise or Data Center environments
Desired/Highly Desired SKILLS;
Experience in one or more of the following:
Network Packet Capture
OS and System Administration experience: Unix/Linux, Windows Client/Server or MacOS
Enterprise level directory services: Authentication, Interop Identity Management OR LDAP/NIS/Active Directory
