A Technical Support Specialist job in Rochester, NY is available through Adecco Engineering and Technology. Must have experienceworking with currently supported operating systems. Provide technical support via telephone and email to customers. Work to retain and encourage increased business from customers by efficiently and courteously satisfying the customer's needs on an ongoing basis.
Technical Support Specialist job responsibilities include:
Responsible for answering incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries into the Technical Support Center.
Will clearly identify and document the problem summary and description as described by the customer as well as record the call details in the CRM tool following the documented processes.
Will utilize the provided tools (such as: SalesLogix, Knowledge Base, DevTrack, HP Quality Center, SharePoint, Google, etc.) to research problems for known and existing solutions
Required to follow documented processes
High School Diploma is required
Minimum Four years related experience
Comprehensive understanding of current network topologies and protocols
