As part of the Health Sciences Global Business Unit (HSGBU), you will be responsible for a wide range of content that meets the needs of many user types, from end-users to IT personnel. You will design, create, and deliver a suite of user assistance materials, including traditional guides, online help, embedded videos, and integrated user assistance. About the team
Our User Assistance and Enablement team is a part of the HSGBU's User Experience team in product development. We are a global team that develops user assistance and enablement materials for internal, customer, and partner audiences. About the role
As a content author on our team, you will develop content for many of the HSGBU's products. You will translate product specifications and functionality into task-oriented content to help users perform their job tasks efficiently using our software. You will build content collaboratively with product managers, development resources, and user experience experts. You will design and write conceptual, reference, and procedural information. In addition to user guides and contextual help, you might also work on videos and user assistance embedded within the UI.
The role involves researching new and changing product features in a fast-paced Agile development environment. This position requires solid technical aptitude, excellent writing skills, and the ability to complete projects with minimal supervision. Details

- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with fluency in western business and technical prose.
Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance, test or user manuals for paper, multimedia or web-based publications. Contributes to the timely design, production and delivery/completion of product documentation and document sets.
As a member of the technical writing division, you will organize and prepare information for publication and develop publication concepts for the best communication of subject matter. Review technical information prepared by other staff members for clarity and content. Take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
