Engineering Services & Systems division has an opening for a Technician.
This position will be based out of our Warrendale, PA office.
Position Overview :
position will be responsible for performing quality assembly and testing of the
complete scope of products serviced by the center of excellence.
Essential Responsibilities :
electrical products of all levels including motor controls, circuit
breakers, etc. This includes all sub-assemblies to the component
level and large scale units.
aftermarket products and perform time entry transactions through Eaton
proprietary software systems.
check components and assemblies for electrical and mechanical defects.
and understand blueprint and schematics for assembly and troubleshooting.
sub-assembly and wiring of any product as assigned.
quality records, calibration records, charts, and area performance to
forecast as directed.
vendor relationships to assist with material specifications, quality
control, purchasing, and delivery.
direction and assignments from the assigned leader, and report any
problems to the leader.
work on orders with some supervision/feedback
Basic Qualifications :
school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required
- No relocation
provided, candidate must live within a 50 mile radius of location
to work in the US without company sponsorship
of a two (2) year, full-time, accredited electrical/mechanical technology
school or its equivalent in the military
with all applicable test equipment such as ( primary injection tester,
power supply tester, insulation resistance tester ).
strong mechanical ability, good organizational skills, and good work
habits with a proactive work ethic in a team environment.
with control circuitry.
with process and procedures of Statistical Quality Control Methods.
to read and understand complex blueprints, schematics, parts lists, and
additional technical materials.
