Temporary Maintenance Technician - Welder, Electrician, Millwright Mechanic

The available positions are for temporary Maintenance Technicians working in Exelon Industrial Services, in the disciplines of Welder, Electrician and Millwright-Mechanics. 


Temporary employment - Each temporary assignment will be for up to 3 months.


The position is within the Maintenance Department in EIS (Exelon Industrial Services) division and is responsible for performing all general mechanical maintenance on power plant equipment.


1 - Adheres to the conduct of maintenance and established maintenance standards and practices.

2 - Provide technical support to plant operations, maintenance staff and engineering.

3 - Perform rigging using tools such as fork trucks, cranes and chain blocks.

4 - Complete verification checks on maintenance items.

5 - Plan work package planning when assigned.

6 - Perform assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

7 - Interpret and understand power plant prints.




1 - Associates Degree OR HS Diploma with minimum of 18 months of trade or technical training.

2 - Successfully complete the EEI MASS [pre-employment] Test requirement.

3 - Ability to lift 50 pounds.

4 - Basic computer skills.

5 - Ability to work in a power plant/industrial environment that includes climbing and walking long distances.

6 - Good oral and written communication skills.

7 - Ability to work on cross-functional teams on major projects.

8 - Knowledge of applicable safety principles in performance of maintenance and repair tasks.

9 - Ability to travel (75+%), work overtime, outages and callouts.
