This position is responsible for testing, documenting, reporting and troubleshooting precision electronic/mechanical devicesEssential Job Functions/Responsibilities:* Perform functional test and troubleshoot products at sub-assembly and final assembly level per written test documentation.* Verify current revision level of product* Visually inspect products for appearance and workmanship prior to final turn in.* Compile documentation and reports on tests performed.* Troubleshoot failed products/subassemblies for corrective action.* Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:* Formal technical training and/or Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.* Three to five years experience as a bench technician, troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies to the component level.* Six months to two years experience in PCB operations including prep, touch-up, and hand soldering.* Knowledgeable in the use of common test equipment, i.e., oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal/function generators, frequency counters.* Experience reading, understanding and analyzing schematic drawings.* Ability to troubleshoot failed products/subassembly to component level and/or root cause.* Familiarity with desktop computers, running test scripts/software, standard Microsoft office programs for reporting data.Desired Qualifications:* Previous background in production or prior military experience in the electronics field.* Previous knowledge and experience with pneumatics assembly and test.* Some basic programming/scripting experience in C or Python would be a plus.
