The TIBCO Developer Advisor position will be responsible for participating in all phases of the development and maintenance of a product life cycle, utilizing specific technology platforms.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements.
Collaborate with engineers analyze and classify complex change request and review and evaluate possible enhancements.
Work with development team to develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare technical specifications
Analyze and evaluate detailed business and technical requirements.
Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements
Contribute ideas for making applications better and easier to use
Develop and perform system testing and fix defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results
May mentor others on coding standards and performs code reviews.
May aid in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project effort.

Qualified Candidates will have:
BA/BS degree or technical institute training;
5 years' experience analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing TIBCO solutions using SDLC best-practices, including experience using Agile processes.
Have a strong working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and associated concepts such as XML Schemas, WS specifications, SOAP, REST, service mediation/ESB, and messaging
Possess TIBCO product experience in: BusinessWorks, Enterprise Message Server (EMS); Administrator; AND API Exchange
Be able to do general TIBCO troubleshooting
Possess technical expertise in developing applications utilizing messaging and event driven architecture patterns including understanding the issues around real-time synchronous and asynchronous integration
Use software development best practices such as versioning and version control, software packaging and software release management
Have experience testing services Have analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues
Have solid understanding relational databases, Sybase is a plus
Be a fast learner, and eager to mentor less experienced team members
Feel comfortable in assuming different roles as a member of a development team
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Be a team player
Be self-sufficient, requires minimum direct supervision
Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, lead small projects and provide troubleshooting support
