Ticket Specialist

The Ticketing Specialist fulfills ticket airfare, including: ticketing air reservations, handling amendments, advising customers of changes or cancellations, and following up on refunds. The Ticketing Specialist assists the Help Desk with air-related queries and works with outside agents, tour operators, and airlines to resolve any air-related issues. The Ticketing Specialist possesses a commitment to a high-standard of quality work, excellent attention to detail, and great verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with Amadeus is preferred but experience using another GDS is acceptable. General ticketing, schedule changes, duplicate records, cancellations, refunds Ticket problems, miscellaneous messages, and failsafe queues Accurately update any changes to a PNR in Avanti's proprietary software Assist the Reservations Help Desk with name corrections, booking, manual pricing, seat assignments, and other queries Assist with any during-travel issues, customer service issues, and post-travel claims Contact Travel Agents regarding schedule changes and cancellations Process, log, and track any debit memos Correspond with airlines regarding refunds when necessary and log and track refund requests Process a regular air ticket variance report Meet with and provide any feedback for our guest air representatives Help identify and troubleshoot any IT-related issues
