  • Work with NAV Product Design team in the US to understand,
    support, and review business requirements for IP development; assist with
    development and quality review/documentation on IP
  • Perform installations of NAV as well as assisting existing
    customers with performance tuning and SQL analysis with support of the RSM
    infrastructure team. 
  • Guide Applications Development and NAV technical resources
    to progress skills on new tools, development features, etc.  Lead the technical charge on advancing on
    future focused capabilities within the NAV team.
  • Participate and lead functional and technical assessments
    for existing NAV users for support and upgrade opportunities.
  • Understand functional and technical requirements in NAV; Create
    time estimates for development; Perform unit testing/QA of development to
    ensure the business requirements are being met as requested
  • Perform code reviews ensuring best practices are being met
    and assist with creation/definition of development practices
  • As needed, be available to perform role of Functional
    Solution Architect on new implementations and support the functional team with
    overflow needs
  • Serve as a mentor and trainer to others, primarily in
    technical aspects
  • Promote RSM capabilities externally via blogging, speaking
    engagements, etc.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems
    Engineering, or related field
  • Deep knowledge of both the functional and technical sides of
    Microsoft Dynamics NAV including exposure to the latest release
  • Ability to perform performance tuning and installations of
    Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Ability to interface with clients both in person and
  • Understanding of the hardware requirements of Microsoft
    Dynamics NAV to assist with hardware sizing
  • Understand the functional and technical differences between
    different versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV to perform upgrade assessments
  • Experience installing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Experience with SQL Server preferably with some knowledge of
    SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS
  • Understanding of some of the more complex technical topics
    in Dynamics NAV
  • 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Experience on multiple successful implementations with
    Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Advanced experience and demonstrated knowledge of Visio,
    Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Maintain a working knowledge of NAV and able to understand
    changes in order to anticipate cross-system or cross-process impacts

  • Ability to learn new business processes or applications very
  • Knowledge of technical developments and trends in
    application analysis, design, and development
  • Knowledge of technical and business writing
  • Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely in
    understandable form, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
