What you will do:
Lead the Plant Team for the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program, provide training and mentorship to the Area Managers. Provide input to the JCMS on the requirements accomplished. Interact with operational leadership to report out Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and savings. Sustain actions and program to ensure a successful TPM Culture.

How you will do it:
  • Reports dotted line with TPM SME in the Region,
  • Launch the TPM program, following the Implementation strategy,
  • Supervise the adoption and/or modification of the TPM documents developed in Plant
  • Oversee the creation of TPM documents for different equipment and ensure consistency of form and content aligned with Global TPM leader,
  • Support the identification and engagement of a TPM consultant in the Plant
  • Ensure alignment between TPM programs in the Region
  • Act as a change agent responsible for driving a CI culture of problem solvers dedicated to proactive and preventive techniques to achieve optimal equipment reliability
  • Develop partnerships with Area Managers to drive the JCMS way into the Plant
  • Participate in monthly cadence reviews to address TPM KPIs and monitor program milestones
  • Work together with SAP Unity team to ensure TPM can be successfully implemented and sustained using this ERP system,
  • Develop creative solutions to roadblocks surrounding implementation of TPM
  • Train area managers, key team members and plant employees in TPM
  • Perform plant TPM assessments with TPM consultant and eventually independently
  • Lead Johnson Controls Manufacturing Systems (JCMS) Continuous Improvement Culture Maintenance Programs focused on TPM

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in technical discipline
  • 3 years of equivalent work experience in reliability maintenance management/TPM methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate a large group of employees required
  • Demonstrated ability to drive/deliver a strategic plan to successful completion required
  • Strong project management skills required
  • Ability to work effectively across regions
  • Travel as required (10-15%)
  • Black Belt certification desirable, Lean certification desirable
