Provide training for operators to meet the requirements of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) in the manufacturing of finished products through continuously improving the skills of assigned Operators by communicating and training on existing standards and processes, and implementing new processes and procedures. Monitor and track compliance for department training requirements in accordance with plant and company standards.

  • Complete all regulatory, safety/environmental training in classroom environment (LOTO, Hazardous Materials)
  • Review, update, document change, and train on existing, new and modifying procedures regularly and ensure that training is documented appropriately
  • Document new process and procedures, along with associated Work Aids and ensures documentation is provided to relevant parties and included in training plans
  • Partner with SOEL, Maintenance Supervisor and Department Managers in implementing process and procedural changes; develop and update technical training manuals and assist in the implementation of the TCCC standards
  • Train all Operators on assigned machines according to established standards
  • Train and/or certify on licensed required equipment (Forklift, Scissor lift, etc.)
  • Train Operators to document, inspect, set-up/changeover, turn-on, verify and perform proper equipment checks prior to startup
  • Train all Operators on policies, procedures, technical manuals and other material pertinent to operation
  • Train Operators to maintain equipment and area cleanliness to ensure compliance with GMP standards; including proper storage of tools and in equipment
  • Train Operators to perform Operator preventative maintenance duties as required
  • Train Operators to perform proper chemical handling, CIP and equipment cleaning as required
  • Train Operators to visually inspect all supplies/equipment before usage, reporting any broken equipment or damaged supplies to Leader or Supervisor immediately
  • Train Operator to report inconsistencies from shift to shift of established procedures and practices to Leader, Supervisor or Manager
  • Train Operators to troubleshoot and correct machinery or quality problems during filling and CIP operations
  • Review each shift report, identify deviations, documentation quality and reports issues to leadership and ensures it gets corrected
  • Provide weekly update of department metrics and measurement including departmental reports
  • Distribute and post these metrics at designated areas and/or as directed by Department Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Preferred experience: 3-5 years in training
  • Understanding in Operational Principles and Lean Manufacturing
  • Require Qualification Sheets be completed on all equipment responsible to train upon, or obtain within 90 days
  • Operational knowledge of production machinery and processes across department levels
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication skills
  • CCNA Forklift license or ability to obtain if required
  • Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Computer skills, including working knowledge within Lotus Notes, ETQ, Infinity, LIS and MSOffice
  • Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot production related problems, and recognize material and product defects
  • Ability to see, hear machine operations sounds to detect jams, changes in speed and other routine mechanical running conditions
  • Possess physical ability to access all areas of a multi-level production facility, with heights to 40 feet, and ability to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to bend, reach and lift items up to 50 pounds a distance of 10 feet or more
  • Able to work on different shifts, extended shift hours and/or overtime as required by management
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment

  • Participation in projects as assigned
Work is performed in high-speed bottling and production environment. Work requires exposure to fluctuating temperatures, high noise levels, working around moving machinery, tanks, heights, wet conditions, fumes, vibrations and standing for extended periods, dust etc.
EQUIPMENT: Production machinery, various pumps, valves, piping, hoses, tanks, computers and associated software, communications radio/phone, control panels, forklifts, hand tools, conveyors, cleaning chemicals and solutions, training/technical manuals, personal protective equipment including, but not limited to safety glasses, steel-toed shoes and hearing protection.
