Pay Rate/Salary: $15-16 / Hour

Purpose: To ensure that new and existing agency employees receive the appropriate information, skills and guidance around the facility. The Onboarding Navigator will provide onsite support and follow-up with new employees during onboarding process, and provide support to existing employees.

Essential Duties:

Good Manufacturing Practices knowledge and implementation.

Supports onboarding processes for new agency associates and ensure these processes are in compliance with Del Real Foods.

Teaches and models GMPs to new and established employees. Acknowledges to reinforce positive behavior, coaches for correction and provides feedback to agency for best practices and common findings.

Conducts new hire walkthroughs for new agency associates to assure connection to area and DRF supervisory staff.

Communicates with floor supervisors and obtains attendance records for existing agency associates.

Anticipates and addresses performance opportunities.

Provides input to management regarding employees' absences and resignations.

Communicates with agency onsite to assure placement effectiveness. Is familiar with business needs and makes timely observation and recommendations to onsite and DRF leadership.

Conducts interviews with new and existing employees to gather feedback on work culture, supervisor/ lead, and job.

Reports information gathered thru interviews and surveys to agency onsite and DRF's Training Specialist.

Conducts time study of temporary placements, to gauge productivity. Shares best practices with DRF Training Specialist and onsite, and coach employee for improvement.

Checks in with the agency associates on the weekends.

Maintains consistent attendance, shares turnover feedback, reduce turnover. Follow-up and report on weekends' absenteeism.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge on safety, food safety, food manufacturing, and warehouse practices.

Bilingual: English and Spanish speaking

Effective Oral and written communicator. Conveys information and ideas in verbal and written form.

Team player. Working well with others and fostering employee morale.

Time Management. Manages one's own time and the time of others in an efficient way.

Time Flexibility. Ability to work split or partial shifts as required.

Multitasker. Handles multiple projects and responsibilities.

Some experience in staffing industry or as onsite representative a plus.
