POSITION SUMMARY:

 

 

Nuveen Shareholder Services provides operational expertise and assistance to various internal departments including Product Development and Management, Sales, Legal and Compliance in support of Nuveen’s mutual fund product. Shareholder Services also has primary responsibility for Transfer Agent and Financial Intermediary Oversight and Relationship Management. Candidate will support Shareholder Services Manager in various initiatives required to support the business and product.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
   

  • Assist in implementation of various mutual fund and CEF product initiatives such as new fund launch, mergers, etc
  •  

  • Support internal and external sales force with operational inquiries and issues
  •  

  • Monitor and enforce certain Fund Compliance policies
  •  

  • Assist in supporting maintenance of product data in DTCC and financial intermediary systems
  •  

  • Assist manager with communication and follow-up of corporate actions
  •  

  • Interact with Funds transfer agent on day to day issues and broader initiatives as needed
  •  

  • Assist in the production of certain management reports
  •  

  • Assist in supporting overall team as needed
  •  

  • Oversight and coordination of payments to financial intermediaries.


QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

  • BA or BS Degree in related field

 

  • Knowledgeable in Mutual Fund Transfer Agent or back office operations

 

 

  • Highly motivated and able to manage multiple tasks

 

 

  • FINRA license preferred

 

 

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

 

 

  • Prior experience required
