Tray & Case Handler - 1st Shift

Position Summary:
Responsible for palletizing all trays and cases at the end of the sortation lines using proper palletizing methodology. Prepare pallets for staging by securing with tape while placing a pallet routing tag on each pallet.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to accurately work from special instructions, and standard operating procedures.
· Remove trays/cases from lanes and palletize by store.
· Re-sort errors and bring to assigned lane.
· Use pump jack to pull full/completed loads to the wrap machine and/or the proper floor assignment.
· Fill out pallet tags with proper loading information.
· Accurately complete and submit daily worksheet.
· Maintain work area in a clean, neat and orderly condition.
· Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
· Must obtain powered equipment license within the first 90 day

o Constantly lifting over 20 pounds.
o Frequently lifting 50 pounds.
o Constant bending, reaching and stooping.
o Constant walking, standing and pulling.
· Work environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes.
· Skills:
· Ability to read, write, and count accurately
· Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
