Route/Activity - Truck drivers are responsible for delivering product to customers. Drivers unload at each stop, typically using a pallet jack and hand truck. Drivers must be able to move approximately 150 - 200 pounds on a had truck. Drivers are responsible for breaking down pallets and moving product into the store. Drivers will average 14 - 16 stops per route. Drivers are responsible for delivering cold product (dairy) and ambient product (paper and dry goods) into each store. Some stores are open during delivery.
Shift - 5 and 2 work week, Typical start time is between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Typical end time is between 3:am and 4:00 am.
Equipment - 36' and 48' refrigerated trailer with lift gate.
Compensation - Activity Base Pay/Paid Weekly. (Driver will average $1000 - $1400 weekly)
-Loading, unloading, or assisting in loading and unloading truck.
-Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment.
-Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
-Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route.
-Primary interface with the customer at point of delivery.
-At least 23 years of age
-CDL Class A license required
-2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 5 years or
-1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 2 years with a clean MVR
-3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations/accidents
-1 Year local hand delivery experience
- refrigerated trailer experience
-Reliable and customer oriented
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening

-While performing the duties of this truck driver job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; sit and talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
