**Sodexo** Universities Services is seeking a full-time hourly **Unit Marketing Coordinator** to oversee the food service marketing program at **Embry Riddle Aeronautical University** located in **Daytona Beach, Florida!** Embry Riddle is the world's largest and most respected university specializing in aviation and aerospace. Our dining program consists of a main dining hall, an all-you-can-eat buffet, and nine retail spaces including Starbucks, Einsteins Bros Bagels, Chick fil A, and Freshens as well as a top-notch catering program. The UMC will be responsible for implementation and coordination of marketing programs at Embry Riddle. This position supports the on-campus dining team by creating, customizing, implementing and presenting marketing plans, strategies/programs, visual merchandising and managing social media related to the dining program.

In this role, the **Unit Marketing Coordinator** interacts with internal team members, media and public relations personnel through social media, client stakeholders and customers in the formulation of promotional plans of action. This person will have a high level of customer contact and must be comfortable assuming a leadership position during promotional events and presenting/speaking to students, parents, faculty and staff. This position requires strong presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The ideal **Unit Marketing Coordinator** will be experienced in marketing, creative, highly proficient in Microsoft Office, a strategic thinker, flexible, a team player, able to work well in a campus setting and interact with students to create a positive overall experience with dining services. Must have high energy, the ability to relate to our students, and possess great communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with all types of social media marketing and website content management a plus. Experience with food service operations is also a plus.

**Position Summary**

This position assists in implementing and deploying unit marketing growth and customer satisfaction and retention strategies. Assists with unit marketing plan development, implementation, communication and evaluation. Assist in projects and has an understanding of project management. Key Duties Student Engagement: Engaging student body with promotions and programs to increase customer satisfaction and retention Web/Social Media: Increase Website and Social Media presence through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Must have high energy, flexible, team oriented but work independently, and be a multi-tasker. Attention to detail, great communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Interacts with internal team members, media and public relations Ensures customers and Sodexo/SodexoMAGIC goals are aligned Assist in all unit marketing initiatives to drive sales growth

**Qualifications & Requirements**

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
