Unitec, located in Ozone Park, NY, is seeking an aggressive, motivated service sales representative to assist the office in growing its service business.
Responsibilities include: sell service and maintenance contracts at required price and margin levels to obtain new units on maintenance agreements; retain current maintenance agreements at required price and margin levels through good customer service and selling on factors other than price; possess broad product knowledge of all elevator/escalator lines and specialized architectural product knowledge; make effective sales presentations; provide repair estimating and estimates for all normal work; read/interpret architectural drawings; understand service contracts in broad terms; develop service sales territory through customer contacts; maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of products and monitor collection of accounts.
Experience/Qualifications: Candidates must show demonstrated results in a sales role, possess solid communication and leadership skills in order to effectively communicate with customers and other UTC employees; be aggressive, goal-oriented individual who has demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently.
Candidates should also have an entrepreneurial spirit and selling strategy; have demonstrated good business decision making in previous positions; must be a team player and have the ability to create proposals and sell on factors other than price.
Relevant industry experience preferred.
Bachelors Degree Required.
