Position Summary:Are you passionate about being an integral team member to support key strategies, technology, and programs across the enterprise for University hiring and Diversity recruitment?
As the event and recruitment technology coordinator, you will interact with multiple clients, both internal and external. and communicate clearly to articulate hiring/staffing details over the telephone and in writing to business/HR leaders.
In this role, you will plan and deliver the registration,setup, etc. for various national diversity conferences and coordinate the logistics of the overall event for the business areas (Corporate, Pharmacy,Minute Clinic). You will build strong relationships with schools and clubs to create a master calendar of events that support the business hiring goals. You may be asked to travel to select University events & conferences and have multi-task responsibilities while working in an environment with minimal supervision. We work closely with the Recruiters and other Human Resources professionals to recruit and hire students along with strategic diverse hiring. We can support a remote working arrangement 2-3 days a week with a preference for RI office presence 1-2 days a week.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining an understanding of the University Relations/Recruitment business strategies and objectives to effectively support the team.
Our team oversees university recruitment activities, schedules events, handles attendance of representatives, and coordinates logistics including event details and shipping of collateral/materials. You will partner with Accounts Payable to ensure timely submission of event invoice. In addition, you will be sought out for your advice and act as a daily user of our University tools (e.g. Avature, Smashfly, Door of Clubs, Handshake,Grad Leaders) and job posting portals. The team facilitates technical event building and portals, works closely post event to engage with candidates that have checked-in at an event and builds their profile through email templates, forms, and surveys.
You will craft, assess and report results for our quarterly scorecards to track results with transparency to budget spend, track all/any metrics and recruiting results to goal.
Administrative support to include scheduling of travel,submission of expense reports, scheduling of meetings, IT requests, etc.
Required Qualifications:Required Qualifications
• 1 year of previous HR/Recruiting experience• 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or related field.
• ATS/CRM experience preferred (i.e. Smashfly, Avature or Kenexa)• Ability to present to a wide rang of audiences (i.e. Senior Leaders, TA peers or college students)• Experience maintaining accurate and detailed records
• Experience with database updates and entries
• Ability to support customers and candidates in a fast-paced recruitment activity in an ever changing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; including intermediate skill level in Excel and technical aptitude
• Experience working in a multi-tasked environment having responsibility for meeting deadlines
• Ability to tackle problems and provide satisfactory resolution
• Demonstrated experienced in planning, prioritizing, and executing
• Requires HS Diploma/GED
