Tucker Pavilion - The Leader in Behavioral Health:
  • Offering of care continuum - crisis team on site, inpatient/acute care for all ages, partial hospitalization for adolescents/adults
  • Use of audiovisual technology to offer Behavioral Health Needs assessments to HCA Virginia's Emergency Departments

Thought Disorder Unit - Tucker 2 East:
  • 26 bed acute inpatient unit
  • Patient population consists of patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and bipolar disorder with psychotic features
  • Team nursing approach

  • Unit practice is "high touch" and "high tech", and multitasking with the ability to perform well under pressure

  • Diploma or Associates Degree from an accredited nursing program (required)
  • BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia as a Registered Nurse (required)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)

  • 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital or behavioral health setting (preferred)

  • Full Time
  • Day Shift
  • 64 hours per pay period (every two weeks)
  • Weekend & Holiday Rotations
