Job ID# 209317 Job Description Duties: * Responsible for the coordination and completion of projectsOversees all aspects of projects * Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project * Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project * May require a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area * Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures * Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals * Performs a variety of tasks * Leads and directs the work of others * A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected * Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department * These are additional details of this job per client: * This position has a high impact on production and revenue risk, and is a fast paced role interfacing with obsolescence management professionals across various functions. * The incumbent will be responsible for managing and coordinating the resolution of assigned component obsolescence cases as a key member of the Deer Valley Obsolescence Management Team (OMT). * The team is comprised of representatives from Components Engineering, Product Engineering, Life Time Buy (LTB) Materials Management (Planning and Procurement), and Marketing & Product Management (M&PM.) * The OMT Case Manager program manages obsolescence resolution efforts for issues impacting Product business performance and works with the OMT Leader to support M&PM Product Action Committee (PAC) Leaders and Customer Business Team Program Managers for obsolescence updates to our customers * They may occasionally interface directly with both customers and suppliers Skills/Qualifications: * BS in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent experience * Minimum of 2-5 years experience in Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) or Engineering fields * Understanding and experience with Obsolescence Management processes * Skills to interact with Site Leadership for presentations and escalation process * Knowledge of alternative methods to avoid LTB (e.g. Technology Transfer, Die Bank, Design Transfer etc.) * Knowledge of Aero Material and Sourcing strategies and initiatives * Six sigma Green Belt Certified * Project or Program Management experience required * Cross-functional ISC and Engineering/Technical background preferred * Working knowledge of Integrated Product Delivery and Support (IPDS) process preferred * Work Schedule: M-F. 8:00am -4:30pm
