The Usability Principal Engineer’s responsibilities are to define the design and development activities associated with world-class user experience solutions across an array of cutting-edge projects. They will help to define and own user experience design deliverables across project initiatives including ideation, user-flow analysis, interaction design, branding and execution. They will also, ensures interactive and visual designs achieve the highest level of usability, desirability and customer satisfaction.
-MS or PhD in Human Factors, Psychology or highly related field
-Approximately 10 years of Usability industry experience conducting user research using various methods that inform and shape product design
-Solid knowledge of the field of human-computer interaction, experimental design, observational and field methods, data analysis, and ethnographic research techniques.
-Experience coordinating work on multiple products/releases and managing the work of additional resources (contractors, agencies, etc.)
-Strong aptitude for learning new technologies a must, given the rapid evolution of Enterprise systems management, data center operations, converged infrastructure, and various cloud-based offerings
-Strong presentation and story-telling skills a must – insights derived from your work will be presented regularly to executive leadership throughout the organization.
