User Generated Content Product Manager

We are looking for a Digital Product Manager who will be accountable for leading product strategy, management and optimization of Capital One’s UGC (User Generated Content) products that focus on account acquisitions and digital self-help through the product development life cycle. As a digital product manager at Capital One, you will employ a customer-centric approach and lead a cross-discipline (product-tech-design) team through the development of new features and functions of the UGC products. The successful candidate will be able to leverage user and market research, industry best practices and design thinking methodologies to inform the UCG product roadmaps. The candidate should be exceptionally imaginative, collaborative, and truly excited about translating customer needs into user-generated experiences. He/she will also be able to demonstrate success by using both quantitative and qualitative measurement methods. You will have the rare opportunity to lead a digital product at the enterprise level and partner with line of business partners to identify how user generated content can support product and account acquisition initiatives and goals. The ideal candidate is resourceful, analytical, self-motivating and has great attention to detail. The candidate will be responsible for communicating within the cross-functional team and on behalf of the team to stakeholders and executives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 3 years of experience in digital product management
- Master's Degree in Business or a Masters Degree in Marketing or a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
-At least 3 years within social strategy
-At least 3 years within digital marketing
-At least 2 years in a Community Manager role
-Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Consumer Facing Product Management experience
-Familiar with website testing tools Optimizely or Adobe Test & Target
- 3-5 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
- 2-4 years of experience in Agile product management
