**Job Description:** The UX Designer role requires excellent leadership skills, strong technical expertise and hands-on project management skills. This role will be responsible for developing strong client teams, managing client releases, owning program schedules from design to release, partnering effectively with other teams within and outside of Control Path, and managing client launches. As a key leader in the Control Path team, you will help guide an in-house creative team who are responsible for developing product solutions that spans across Isilon’s products. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, development and senior partners to deliver innovative end-to-end solutions that are effortless, intuitive and delight our customers. The candidate should have knowledge and practical experience in UX design, from design concept creation to development and release and possess excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities of the role include: + Helping to define and drive the vision for the Control Path U/X team’s execution. + Working across Isilon to create strong relationships with other senior leadership /team stakeholders. + Working closely with U/X, Product Management, and Development leadership to create a successful work environment. + Managing the intake process for U/X engagement + Managing the iterative design process for U/X artifacts + Managing the approval process for U/X artifacts + Ensuring prioritization and deliver of U/X artifacts to stakeholders **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** + 3-5+ years’ experience as a UX specialist, UX designer, or similar role + Experience leading a team (technical or design) through full product development cycle(s). + Passion for and proven experience user experience and design + Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills + Must be able to organize executive UX reviews, sign-offs, and coordinate feedback from various stakeholders + Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Strong bias for action and "get it done" attitude **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Previous experience speaking in front of executives a plus + Software development background a bonus + Technical expertise and strong analytical skills **EMC Values:** When you choose EMC, you join a diverse world of innovative thought leaders.
