Position is responsible for analysis, program design, coding and testing of format program according to customer submitted specifications. This position works directly with other team members to ensure quality control standards are being followed and customer objectives are met. High standards of quality control procedures must be strictly adhered to.
Receive, review, and verify order specs and instructions from the CSR. Utilize copy template, instructions and PrintNet T software to develop order workflow documents. Analyze and interpret instructions to develop programming logic. Check workflow document logic using selectable driven default file. Verify. Setup and verify imaging is in compliance with press, production, device, and postal specifications and tolerances. This includes setup for Test Mode and Quality Check records. Create files, paperwork and reports for Production, Sales, and Verification. Generate and verify customer requested signoff files. Customer modificatons and proof-back changes. Particpate in product and software upgrade testing.
Strong communictaion and interpersonal skills as well as good organizational and planning skills are required. Requires knowledge of data processing, print technologies, production processes and work flow processes. Excellent skill in the use of appropriate computer software applications and skill in producing/manipulating electronic files. Good knowledge of print manufacturing and the printing process. Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning specifications.
An associate degree in Computer Science or Imaging Technology or the equivalent in education/work experience desired. Experience programming with Inspire Designer preferred.
