The Contract Management/Vendor Analyst will acts as a strategic advisor to the Director of the Vendor Management Organization (VMO), which supports the McKesson Pharmacy Technology & Services (MPTS) division. Along with the Director of the VMO, the Analyst will provide an analysis of the vendor network P&L by vendors and product/service, as well as an analysis of the vendors performance metrics to ensure the VMO has actionable intelligence and understanding of the competitive landscape based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative information. The Vendor Analyst should be capable of utilizing and synthesize large amounts of data, including existing vendor data, outside market research, and competitive intelligence to provide an objective analysis and in-depth actionable insights related to the vendor network and the retail pharmacy technology market.
The Vendor Analyst monitors the retail pharmacy technology markets, new developments, and competitive forces on an ongoing basis, creating impact and change analysis reporting, leads ad hoc competitive intelligence projects, contributing to the development of a data-driven culture. The output from the Analyst’s vendor analysis and market assessment will help shape the strategic direction and actions planned to develop a world class vendor network for MPTS.
Vendor Analyst will also be actively involved in monitoring contract
performance, including reporting on vendor revenue and profit results, and the
oversight and monitoring of all vendor AR/AP activities. Sourcing and procurement experience is a plus. Candidate should be comfortable reporting and
presenting to senior level management and demonstrate excellent oral and
written communication skills.
Certain responsibilities and duties that are typically associated with the Vendor Analyst job include but are not limited to the following:
2+ years experience in product marketing

4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
