Your Challenge • Calibration of multi-modality systems and loading proprietary software. • Execution of pre-defined test steps, recording objective test evidence. • Assist in design of manual and automated testing. • Participate in reviews of test designs to ensure each test complies with guidelines for coverage of requirements and test quality as defined in Philips processes. • Participate in project reviews, ready to discuss test results and work with design engineers to provide data to analyze, and help to retest for design verification. Our Team The PET/CT Verification group is part of the larger Philips CT/NM engineering department. The group is responsible for translating system requirements into test designs and executing those during the verification phase of a program. The co-op position will be involved with multi-modality medical imaging systems (PET/CT, PET/MR and SPECT/CT). We are looking for • Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an engineering degree such as Biomedical, Computer Science or other Engineering degree. • Proficient with Microsoft XP and WIndows 7 with Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc) • Candidate should display strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; possess the ability to work through technical issues. • Good written, oral and interpersonal skills. • Candidate must be able to analyze test data, determine possible sources of error and work independently on presenting data and test results to resolve issues and improve design.
