Your Challenge • Calibration of multi-modality systems and loading proprietary software. • Execution of pre-defined test steps, recording objective test evidence. • Assist in design of manual and automated testing. • Participate in reviews of test designs to ensure each test complies with guidelines for coverage of requirements and test quality as defined in Philips processes. • Participate in project reviews, ready to discuss test results and work with design engineers to provide data to analyze, and help to retest for design verification. Our Team The PET/CT Verification group is part of the larger Philips CT/NM engineering department. The group is responsible for translating system requirements into test designs and executing those during the verification phase of a program. The co-op position will be involved with multi-modality medical imaging systems (PET/CT, PET/MR and SPECT/CT). The co-op activities will vary with the phase of the program but will focus on verification test activities. Our Mission We are dedicated to creating the future of healthcare and saving lives. We are looking for • Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an engineering degree such as Biomedical, Computer Science or other Engineering degree. • Proficient with Microsoft XP and WIndows 7 with Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc) • Candidate should display strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; possess the ability to work through technical issues. • Good written, oral and interpersonal skills. • Candidate must be able to analyze test data, determine possible sources of error and work independently on presenting data and test results to resolve issues and improve design.
