Job Title: Vice President, Global Beverage Strategy

Duties: Develop and support execution of business strategies (e.g. priority platforms, performance improvements) to drive international multi-billion dollar growth by leveraging complex analytics and setting up tight governance around implementation. Oversee the global PepsiCo Strategic Planning process for the Beverages business, ensuring alignment with Sector CEOs on global priorities and resource requirements. Manage a team and effectively leverage Global Strategy network, other Corporate Functions and Regional Category teams to deliver cross-functional, often confidential, projects with multi-billion dollar impact on the business and communicate results to our leadership team. Act as a counsellor to the CEO and the Executive team on key decisions regarding PepsiCo stance on regulation, inorganic transactions (e.g. M&A, JVs and divestitures), new product launches, key capabilities (e.g. manufacturing footprint). Monitor global markets and generate category insights to drive improvement of the Beverage business by unlocking profitability and growth opportunities while effectively managing business headwinds. Evaluate deal attractiveness and viability and oversee deal execution with third parties, including bottlers, other CPG players, etc. Limited domestic and international travel to visit key markets and work with Regional teams on strategic priorities, often on short notice.
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week.
Job Requirements: Master's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related field and ten (10) years in the job offered or a related position in Strategy/Strategy Consulting. Prior work experience must include ten (10) years of each of the following: Developing and generating insights from complex analytical models to estimate business potential of major strategic initiatives, such as launch of products or services with revenue greater than $1 billion and saving opportunities from multi-billion productivity improvement initiatives, including some CPG experience; Guiding grocery retailers with respect to key decision making drivers, including product assortment decisions, planograms, and supply chain structuring; Advising CEOs, and their teams, on growth strategy and performance improvements. Prior work experience must include five (5) years of each of the following: Developing business strategies for companies with $10 billion or more in sales across key regions, including North America & BRIC. Project management experience, driving strategy implementation and/or implementation of large transformations (i.e., over $100m dollars in benefits) in the retail and/or CPG space, working with in-market stakeholder on the execution of cross-regional projects; Managing (direct and indirect) global cross-functional teams of 20 or more. Prior experience in food and beverage franchised businesses, with direct in market experience dealing with Franchisees leadership is required.
