:  With the fast changing landscape especially in the Insurance industry, the ability to innovate and build implementable disruptive solutions has become a necessity. The newly launched MetLife Strategy has digital innovation as a key building block.  Service delivery is the key differentiating factor for MetLife to be successful and Global Operations is core to making this successful.  To keep pace with the industry innovation and to deliver to MetLife’s Digital strategy, Global Operations is building a new capability of highly innovative thinkers who can take abstract ideas/ innovations currently taking place and have the ability to think creatively about building solutions which will take MetLife to the cutting edge, not only in the Insurance industry but across all the industries.   Driven by passion and purpose, we are looking for you to build compelling responses to new opportunities in our industry and identify disruptive innovative ideas in Underwriting, Claims and Servicing, help build viable solutions and business cases and work with the Operations leaders and transformation teams to pilot and build read to deploy solutions.



  • Responsible for devising innovation strategy and roadmap deliver of solutions in collaboration with subject matter experts, operations leaders, technology partners.
  • Build a strategy to reimagine how we do Underwriting, Claims and Service across MetLife with innovative solutions and using digital as a key lever.
  • Build out implementation plans to deliver solutions, in partnership with the Process Excellence team, as well as Regional and Country Operations teams.
  • In partnership with GTOs innovation team, identify companies to target for solutions and adjacencies to insurance which can ultimately differentiate MetLife in the marketplace.


  • 10-15 years’ experience working in start-ups or part of innovation teams for larger companies
  • Product development skills and the ability to work with multiple teams/ organization to build solutions
  • Hunger for new ideas and knowledge with passion for technology and innovation
  • Good technical skills, experience working with IT organization or knowledge of key systems and software used in financial services organization a plus
  • Undergraduate technical degree preferred; Masters in sciences/ computer science a positive
