We are currently seeking a Vice President to join our Strategic Planning team.

General Statement of Duties:
Responsible for supporting the development of overall strategy, including a significant role in Methodist Healthcare System's (MHS) market and facility based strategic planning. The primary responsibilities include leading key work streams of the overall strategic and business planning processes and developing and overseeing systems/reporting/processes that advance optimal use of analytical resources to inform strategy and key business decisions. Using financial analysis and decision support metrics, he/she will review strategic initiatives and service line development strategies to ensure they support the overall strategic direction of MHS. This role will supervise, mentor, and support select analytical staff/associates on the Strategic Planning team.
1. Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or health-related field.
2. Experience:

  • Minimum ten years' experience in healthcare and strategic planning with at least four years of management experience; previous multi-site experience preferred
3. Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).

4. Preferred: Master's or advanced degree in business or health-related field.
