Unified Communication and Telephony Services (UCT) is a global acting team responsible for the architecture, planning and operation of telecommunication systems. The team interprets business requirements into a technical solution and provides technology road maps governed by strategic directions, business requirements as well as resourcing and financial constraints. It liaises with global server and network infrastructure teams to ensure alignment across technology portfolios. UCT is responsible for defining, planning, tracking and managing multiple telecommunication projects in various stages of delivery all over the world.

The UCT System Expert provides skills to design, implement and lead Unified Communication (UC) and Telephony Infrastructure related projects in a complex environment. Will need a deep understanding of the available technology and can support the continuous improvement of our Collaboration landscape.

Principal Accountabilities:
*Architectural design and build of UC and telephony infrastructure
*Responsible for technical analysis, specification, documentation, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of UC and telephony systems
* Planning, coordination and documentation of rollouts based on the current corporate standards and policies
* Provision of global 3rd level support
* Management and coordination of internal and external suppliers for voice services (VoIP, PBX, LAN, WAN)
* Communication with customers and coordinating customer requests
* Provide expert consultation for major telecommunication initiatives or incidents
* Liaise with management, Site Services, global Infrastructure Management (IM) teams
*Work on weekends and in the evenings, as needed to coordinate/support project go-lives, changes and implementation tasks
