Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is in search of a customer service oriented person for their Volunteer Coordinator position.

Position scheduled 12 hrs/week evenings & weekend rotation.
Weekday Shift: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Weekend Shifts (rotation): Sat: 10am - 4pm/Sun: 1pm - 4pm

The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a modern, Joint Commission-accredited, 330-bed full-service hospital located in Idaho Falls. Idaho Falls offers a rich variety of outdoor activities with Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Jackson, WY and Sun Valley all within a short drive from our hospital.

The Volunteer Coordinator supervises all activities that relate to the Volunteer Program, specifically those that work the evening and weekend shifts. This role will be responsible for scheduling, interviewing, and training for all new and current Volunteers. They are also responsible for annual evaluations and competencies for the evening/weekend Volunteers.

This position will require computer skills with ability to use Microsoft programs as well as other software programs used by department. Prepares monthly and year end reports. Organizes and assists in planning and carrying out of recognition events, as well as training and in-service events for the volunteers.

Must practice polished telephone techniques, including use of multi-line system.

  • Previous administrative experience required.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
