Position is responsible for interpreting company objectives in order to establish the strategic direction and goals for General Accounting. Provide leadership and direction to six functional areas: General Accounting, Sales & Margin Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Vendor programs, Credit & Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable & Payroll. Lead the close process and the relationship with our external auditors. Liaison between the Accounting department, Financial Systems/IT, External Reporting and Accounting Policy, Financial Planning and Analysis, Divisional Finance teams, Tax, Treasury, Legal and the External auditors.

  • Bachelor's in accounting is required, Master's is preferred
  • 15 + years of progressive and continuing service
  • Progressive experience in all aspects of general accounting, US Gaap, complex closings with multiple financial systems and Sarbanes Oxley controls
  • CPA Required
