The VP, Deputy Ethics and Compliance Officer will help ensure Gartner adheres to legal and ethical standards and their attendant policies and procedures. In this role, you will capture, manage and analyze crucial data to identify risk trends and help develop essential training, vital communications and audit plans. You will be tasked with leading and managing initiatives and projects in the areas of compliance and integrity, including global certifications, global surveys and developing content for internal social media. You will interact with Ethics & Compliance associates around the world regularly, as well as other senior leaders regarding ethics and compliance topics. In this role, you will report directly to the GVP Ethics & Compliance.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise of global compliance and integrity industry trends and best practices
  • Develop and manage global claims management database
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data from investigations across the globe to identify risk areas and trends, and implement changes to help prevent future issues that require investigation
  • Develop and execute ethics and compliance communications plan
  • Create and maintain policy library (along with other policy owners), manage process around updates, reviews and certifications
  • Build and maintain ethics & compliance intranet and internal social media content
  • Address issues that come into the hotline and via other media, including investigation and discipline
  • Monitor and audit compliance programs
  • Report to senior operating management as appropriate


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree; JD preferred
  • Prior experience: minimum 7-10 years’ post-college work experience, including minimum of 5 years in a compliance-related field. Justice Department, law firm or corporate compliance role preferred prior experience. Deep knowledge of, and ability to take actions based on, global Compliance-related laws and related activities (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act, OFAC)
  • CCEP certification required
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and follow-up skills
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, with ability to interact effectively and build relationships with all levels of associates
  • Excellent spoken and written English; second language welcome
  • Experience with project management and business processes/systems
  • Microsoft Office suite and/or Google G Suite; case management system; document management and retention system
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn, adapt, and apply new processes to job role
  • Ability to manage many complex projects while at the same time meeting tight deadlines
  • Unquestionable ethics and excellent judgment, ability to maintain confidentiality
