Position Summary:
As the VP ofRetail Merchandising-Store Brands & Quality Assurance, this executive will leadthe team of talented, innovative merchants who will create and implement theCVS Health Store Brands strategy which is an important component to company’soverall enterprise brand strategy. Thisleader will oversee the creation, manufacturing, quality assurance and buyingstrategies for CVS Health’s Store Brands to meet or exceed the Front storesales, margin and inventory targets. This leader will focus on the store brandportfolio strategy of brands including creative, packaging, productdevelopment, business management, brand planning and white space opportunitiesand the building internal/external brand awareness. This leader will have responsibility for thequality assurance and regulatory processes and programs that govern the SBportfolio as well as managing vendor relations with several hundred suppliers +key industry influencers.

Lead a team that monitors and benchmarkscompetitors to maintain or grow our leadership position and market share. Youwill also negotiate and collaborate with suppliers to create programs that willreduce cost of goods and maximize funding and margin overall. Partner acrosswith key retail partners to ensure alignment of the Merchandising goals andinitiatives and work along side senior leaders in Inventory, RISD, Pricing,Logistics, Store Operations and Marketing in a coordinated fashion.


Required Qualifications:
· 8+ years of work experience in
strategy development, business execution, people management, and leadership in
a large retail environment.
· Strong strategic and analytical
skills with demonstrated ability to turn into actionable strategic frameworks
and operational plans.
· Strong
executive presence and communication skills; capable of influencing and
driving collaboration at all levels within the organization, as well as
externally in business development and with supplier management.
· Proven
ability to influence key stakeholders.
· Experience
with quantitative methodologies, and the ability to draw actionable
insights from large quantities of data.
· Experience
building and leading high-performing teams.
· Experience
managing a significant budget and P&L.
