Role Summary:

All Warehouse Associates will perform multiple tasks in any combination and concentration of the mentioned areas and will rotate through all or most of the processes rather than being assigned to a specific task. Warehouse Associates must be able to work as part of a team.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Receiving,order picking, packing (wrapping, crating, labeling), and shipping of bothlarge and small materials

+ Operatevarious forklift trucks, and other material transport equipment (cranes,tuggers, pallet jacks, etc.) as needed

+ Loadingand unloading of trucks

+ Partscounting, including inventory audits and cycle-counting

+ UtilizeORACLE and other various PC and web applications to review, enter and edit data

+ Generateshipping labels, packing slips, etc. and verify accuracy

+ Engagein activities to prevent loss or damage of materials

+ Generalhousekeeping of warehouse

+ Readand interpret pick tickets, packing instructions, safety alerts, drawings, orother communications as needed

+ Workwith other Warehouse Associates and Support Staff on improving warehouseprocesses through team meetings; promote climate of cooperation

+ Performall activities in a manner that meets GE Manufacturing Solutions' standards forintegrity, safety and quality

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Be18 years or older

+ High-schooldiploma or GED or equivalent

+ Bewilling to take a drug test & submit to a background check as part of theselection process

+ Possessunrestricted authorization to work in the United States

+ Abilityto frequently reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull

+ Abilityto work overtime, as required

Desired Characteristics:

+ Priorwarehousing or manufacturing experience

+ PriorForklift Driving experience; Forklift Certification

+ Safetymindset; knowledge of safety procedures and practices

+ Abilityto read and interpret operating procedures, quality and safety documents, orother information critical to job performance; strong communication skills

+ Abilityto work a flexible schedule with overtime as needed

+ PriorERP system experience (ORACLE, SAP, etc); computer literacy

+ Excellentorganizational skills and attention to detail, with the customer in mind

+ Demonstratesstrong leadership skills

+ Manual dexterity for using hand tools to performessential functions
