Responsibilities for forklift operator position are: Maintain a smooth flow of stock to production in a timely basis by filling requisitions to receive, store and track incoming stock, supplies and materials and to transport these materials into and throughout the facility utilizing a variety of material handling equipment. Works closely with other team members to exceed customer satisfaction and service expectations. Fill requisitions for raw stock and base stock working from specific written and oral instructions including using scale to weigh raw stock. Safely operate all plant material handling equipment and transport materials to and from production. Receive and document incoming deliveries by verifying count, inspecting for damage and issuing proper paperwork for inventory and pricing and when acceptable, transfer into stock area for storage. Assist with physical inventory on a regular basis. Maintain list of low stock items and communicate to proper personnel. Monitor non-inventory supplies such as carbon, cartons and pallets. Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates. Mat Hand/Ware Op Qualifications: Forklift Operation (OSHA certified) 6+ months of warehouse experience preferred 6+ months of Forklift Operation experience within the last three years Current Forklift operator certification A valid state-issued drivers License Requires accuracy in writing and numbers. Requires good mathematical skills and attention to detail. Ability to move freely throughout the building to gather information, materials and authorizations. Responsibilities for Warehouse Associate are • Efficiently pick and pack customer orders or shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped • Verify that the entire order picked matches the packing slip • Repack and weigh orders that require special handling • Accurately count product inventory by location • Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing non-powered material handling equipment • Assist in physical inventories • Select applicable packaging (box/container) for the order. • Insert applicable packaging material, construct and seal once completed. Affix packaging label to the outside of the package • Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area • Perform other duties as assigned by management or customer • Pickers - cannot be afraid of heights and will be constantly moving • Packers - Will remain sedentary, work alone, and must be able to lift totes off a high conveyer belt and have basic computer skills. Qualifications for Warehouse Associate position are: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Ability to operate equipment with a non-overhead lifting mechanism safely and efficiently (ex: powered pallet jack, manual pallet jack, etc.) • Basic familiarity with warehouse procedures and operations • Good written and oral communication • Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions/work procedures/safety rules • Ability to perform simple math calculations and work a handheld computer and scanner • Ability to identify and locate product which requires reading, counting, and printing • Ability to write information clearly onto forms and log sheets • Have appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly execute position • Ability to use automated inventory control equipment • Must be able to occasionally push and pull 100 lbs • Must be able to frequently lift 100 lbs • Must be able to constantly walk and stand • Must be able to successfully complete a client specific background check Lifting up to 50 pounds Hours and Pay rates are as follows: Warehouse Associate: 1st shift: Monday through Friday between 6am and 6pm $11/hr 2nd shift: Monday through Friday between 2pm and 11pm $12/hr 3rd shift: Monday through Friday between 7pm and 8:15am $12/hr Forklift Operator: 1st shift: Monday through Friday between 6am and 6pm $13/hr 2nd shift: Monday through Friday between 2pm and 11pm $14/hr 3rd shift: Monday through Friday between 7pm and 8:15am $14/hr
