A local leading organization is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Center Manager - Floor Manager - Warehouse Supervisor in Cheyenne, WY, for a long term, permanent opportunity. This Warehouse Manager will supervise the workers employed in the warehouse, as well as may be in charge of planning operations and activities and addressing any issues within the organization. Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
-Bilingual; ability to speak fluent Spanish strongly preferred
-Previous distribution center/ warehouse experience, 2 years preferred
-Receiving/ order filling/ shipping experience within a warehouse setting
-Must be able to successfully complete a client specific background and drug screen
-High School diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Review incoming and outgoing shipments.
-Monitor warehouse workers and associated activities; offer assistance to those with concerns or problems on the work floor.
-Ensure that products delivered are stored in an organized manner, so that its quality is maintained and accessibility is achieved.
-Create a layout plan that streamlines the storage and retrieval of goods.
-Implement worker safety and health regulations.
-Plan, project and set objectives for the employees to meet.
-Respond to orders efficiently so that products are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
-Coordinate with store managers or customers regarding discrepancies and errors in the supply chain process.
-Address logistical problems and furnish solutions to these issues.
-Meet with other managers to confer about products, shipping times, and distribution issues, among many other concerns.
-Create new supply strategies.
Shifts may vary and this is a salaried position.
Pay for this position is $50 - 65k/ year, depending on education and experience. This is a direct hire, permanent position.
