POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of daily tasks such as inside and outside errands that include and are not limited to the processing and delivery of mail and inventory packages. Completes duties related to the storage and retrieval of essential supplies and equipment, including compiling records concerned with the ordering, receiving, and storing of converters, equipment, and other assets or supplies. Performs daily activities with customer premise equipment involving unpacking and packaging, issuing and returns, bench examining and testing, detecting malfunction, calibration and general repair.

MAJOR DUTIES: (Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to the following)

Maintains all inventory in a secure and orderly manner with appropriate controls as outlined in the Company's inventory control guidelines.

Responsible for picking up and processing mail from the local post office daily, and outgoing packages and mail, including distribution of mail or packages for proper departments.

Issues, receives and tracks supplies for field personnel on a daily basis with consistency.

Burns in, tests, modifies and performs minor repairs to converters, issues and receives to the field and repair vendors while maintaining detailed records of transactions.

Posts information in ledgers or to other records, extracting data from receiving or shipping papers, requisitions, contracts, accounting reports and other documents.

Compiles inventory and converter control records, consumption data, distribution data, and related factors of all assets upon request to ensure controls.

Performs tests and repairs on any RF, AC/DC equipment used in the cable system. Includes but not limited to RF modules, converters, modems, and other customer premise equipment.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Lifts and carries ladders, equipment, and other loads up to 70lbs.

Minimum QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record.

Certification in forklift operation.

Ability to interact with customers and co-workers and the general public.

EXPERIENCE:

One-year cable TV technical experience desired.
