Position will be leveled 06-09 depending on progression through supply chain competencies

The GES Warehouse Supervisor is a frontline manager position primarily responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost service and safety. You will lead a team of 15 to 30 hourly associates with varying levels of experience and education. You will be trained in Frito-Lay's GES Warehouse processes while assisting team members in solving problems and improving performance. You will initiate and implement projects utilizing the CI performance process and coach team members to use the performance process on the floor while administering policies and procedures. May conduct presentations and formal training.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, technology, business or similar field strongly preferred

  • Ability to give/receive constructive feedback
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results oriented environment and strong leadership skills

Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to see (depth perception, near acuity and far acuity) and hear
  • Must be able to maneuver safely around moving equipment and/or in congested manufacturing areas
  • Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures (hot and/or cold depending upon season and location)
  • Must pass a drug screen and background investigation
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, ear plugs/muffs, steel toed shoes, rubber gloves/boots, etc.
  • Exposure to various packaging materials, raw ingredients, seasonings, cleaning chemicals, lubricants, etc
