Job Overview:
Research, publish, and present (TV, seminars, client meetings) on: (1) the 13 largest investment-grade public-finance issuers (New York City, California, Chicago, etc.); and (2) the broader municipal bond market through tactical and strategic investment recommendations. Publications have been quoted in respected national publications including Barron's, Bloomberg News, The Bond Buyer, Financial Planning and more.
Business Critical Need
Assistance needed with researching, reviewing, analyzing, data-mining, writing, and publishing on the largest investment-grade public-finance issuers and the broad municipal bond market and economy. The research is all client-approved and provides guidance for selling, holding, or buying a position (FAs will consider asset allocation and risk tolerance).

Required Skills
Micro credit analytics and public finance banking competence as well as broad market macro trading and economics. Trading desk experience (markets or credit) is highly advantageous. Macro analytics will include broader economy, equities, fixed income. Micro credit research will include financial metric and financial statement quantitative analysis (CAFR, etc.), individual credit/trading analysis, writing, presentation skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting. MBA and/or CFA advantageous
Minimum 5 years of experience in municipal trading, public finance investment banking, credit analytics, and/or municipal strategy.
Quantitative skills, financial statement (CAFR) and broad market analysis/data mining, writing, Excel, PowerPoint, presenting, client interaction
