Responsibilities:
Create high-quality visual designs--from concept to execution, including those for desktop and mobile devices at a variety of resolutions.
Design, develop, and maintain innovative, engaging, and informative web sites.
Participate in meetings, design reviews, and training sessions as required.
Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in web design and recommend new technologies appropriately.

Requirements:
Expert level Photoshop and Illustrator skills
All the visual design basics: Color theory, layout, typography, icon design, style guide authoring, etc.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience in UX and creating wireframes
Experience in creating responsive web design
Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
Strong portfolio of work.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to document and annotate design specifications that anticipate questions from developers, QA engineers or product managers

Nice to have skills:
Experience with JavaScript libraries (eg. jQuery, Angular, Modernizr).
Experience with Web analytics tools (eg. Site Catalyst)
Experience in data visualizations: performance tracking dashboards, infographics, or graphical reports
Experience in working with UI frameworks: Bootstrap, Foundation etc.
Experience in mobile application design (iOS and Android)
Experience in UX, user research and usability testing
Experience with Canvas/CSS animation.
Qualifications:
Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development.

As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically four years of software engineering or related experience needed.
