Adecco is currently assisting a small Kansas City, MO manufacturer in their search to fill a Weld Shop Supervisor role. This is a Direct Hire role. In this role you will be responsible for operational activities associated with the weld production facility in the reconditioning of core materials. This role will also manage human resources and administrative activities for direct reports in support of production loading. Responsibilities:

Meet on-time production and quality goals to deliver customer satisfaction. Oversight to scheduling and allocation of resources (time and material) to meet operational goals.

Analyze accurate data on production, labor, and materials entry.

Support the workflow within the area of responsibility to meet efficiency targets, minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Initiate process and continual improvement efforts through implementation.

Coordinate training with new hires to support production schedules.

Manage Supply Room inventory program and responsible for controlling expenses to budget projections.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge of manufacturing and production scheduling techniques to manage efficient use of time and material. Practice good inventory control and expense control techniques.

Good mechanical aptitude and proficient in welding principles, personnel qualifications, and weld procedures. Strong focus on quality standards, safety, and training.

Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing. Good time management skills that support the efficiency of operations and shipment schedules. Good analytical skills and can apply critical thinking to situations.
